About me

Hello and Welcome!

I’m Anna, an HCPC and BPS registered, chartered Counselling Psychologist, and I’m here to provide a safe, compassionate space for adults seeking support. I focus on individual psychotherapy and offer weekly online sessions tailored to your unique needs.

In our sessions together, I focus on individual psychotherapy tailored to your unique needs. I offer sessions in both Polish and English. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, work-related stress, trauma, grief, or relationship challenges, I’m committed to walking alongside you on this transformative journey of self-discovery and healing.

One of my key areas of expertise is supporting individuals affected by cancer. I recognise that a cancer diagnosis can bring about overwhelming emotional challenges. Feelings of anxiety, depression, and trauma often accompany this journey, and I am here to help you navigate these complex emotions. Together, we can explore your experiences and find ways to foster resilience and hope.

I believe strongly in the connection between physical health and mental well-being. If you’re dealing with pain or health-related concerns, I understand how deeply these issues can impact your emotional state. My holistic approach addresses both your physical and psychological needs, helping you to achieve a sense of balance and well-being.

As someone who has also experienced life as an expat, I understand the unique challenges that come with living away from home. Navigating cultural differences, managing feelings of isolation, and dealing with work-related stress and burnout can be overwhelming.

In my practice, I primarily utilise psychodynamic and relational frameworks while integrating techniques from other therapeutic modalities when appropriate. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Each of these approaches allows us to work collaboratively, empowering you to gain insight, develop coping strategies and cultivate resilience. My aim is also to build a therapeutic relationship built on trust and empathy. I believe that a therapeutic relationship that allows us to explore our struggles together can lead to meaningful change and growth.

I commend you for considering this important step toward better mental health. To help you feel more comfortable, I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation. This is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss your needs, and see if I’m the right therapist for you. Your mental health matters, and I would be honoured to help you create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
