About me

I am an experienced integrative counsellor and a trainee Counselling Psychologist. It means that I draw on different therapeutic models to meet your needs. I integrate person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and Clarkson’s Five Relationship model in my therapeutic work.

My core values are warmth, empathy, and non-judgmental attitude. I believe that professional relationship is at the core of therapeutic work. I can help you and support you in difficult moments, offering a warm and safe space where you can feel valued and listened to. My work also involves helping you to gain some insights into how past experiences affect your current feelings and behaviour and how to make positive changes in life.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work according to their ethical values.

I work in Deptford SE8. Please contact me to have a brief conversation about the nature of your difficulties and to establish whether the support I offer would be useful to you. I offer in-person sessions, online, and therapy outdoors (walk and talk).

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a dedicated Integrative Counsellor and a Trainee Counselling Psychologist, with extensive experience in the NHS, IAPT, secondary care, charity, and educational settings. My diverse background allows me to support clients across various stages of their mental health journey, from early intervention to more complex psychological needs.

I integrate person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches, tailoring my work to meet each client's unique needs. My core values—warmth, empathy, and a nonjudgmental approach—are central to my practice, ensuring a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where clients feel truly heard and valued.

Having worked in NHS and community mental health settings, I have experience supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach not only helps clients navigate difficult moments but also fosters deeper self-awareness. Together, we can explore how past experiences shape present emotions and behaviours, empowering you to make meaningful and lasting changes in your life.

My qualifications:

  • Trainee Counselling Psychologist 2023-2026
  • MSc in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy 2022
  • Pg Dip in Therapeutic Counselling 2018
  • BSc in Psychology

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
