About me
I am a UKCP registered psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, with over 10 years' clinical experience of working with people with a wide range of emotional difficulties. Working in central London, I provide a confidential and secure environment in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings about problems and areas of conflict, as well as the difficulties of everyday life.
Embarking on a counselling or therapy process can feel like a big step, but counselling and therapy can be helpful in allowing you to increase self-awareness and to identify self-destructive patterns of behaviour. We will work together to help identify and reflect on areas of your life that are problematic for you. However, counselling and therapy also involve the emergence of difficult feelings; my role is to help you to explore the issues you feel are important for you at your own pace, and in a way that is contained.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am registered with UKCP and abide by their ethical code.
My training as a psychodynamic counsellor and therapist was at WPF Therapy. I have an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies from Roehampton University. I am committed to continued professional development, and have full-cover professional indemnity insurance.
I have worked in a variety of mental health settings with adults with a very wide range of problems and difficulties.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
