About me
Firstly a big well done on reaching out and asking for some support, it takes great courage to do that. If you have been feeling anxious, low, lonely, isolated or just know you need some help with something thats causing you pain I want to reassure you- you are not alone!
My ultimate aim is to help and support you with what ever has brought you through my door. I love to see people break free from difficulties and problems and reach their full potential. What ever you are facing today I believe there is hope for tomorrow!
I aim to make the process of starting counselling as simple as possible. After our first point of contact we would arrange an assessment. This is to meet each other in person and talk through your needs and goals for counselling.
After this assessment there is no obligation to continue with counselling.
Obviously if you decide to go ahead we would book a regular time to meet on a weekly basis with either myself or my colleague. After 6 weeks we would review to discuss our progress and how to proceed together.
I operate out of a well established clinic in Ashford Kent.
There is disabled access, free parking, toilets and a waiting area.
I also do home visits (where appropriate.) Please contact me for more details regarding home visits.
I offer a reduced rate for student counsellors (Those that are training to become a counsellor or psychotherapist)
I also have several spaces for lower cost therapy with my final year Student Victoria.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
