Anna Bailey, Registered Member MBACP (Accred)
25 Warner Street
I am a person-centred counsellor offering counselling sessions in an Accrington town-centre location.
Counselling is the opportunity to speak to someone about whatever issue is important to you. There are many reasons that you may be seeking counselling; it may be because of difficult life events or experiences, because of feelings that are overwhelming, or because of feeling lost in the direction of your life. Counselling can give the chance for something to change.
I aim to provide a space where you can be yourself. I will work with you to develop a trusting relationship in which you can share and explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings. I am not there to judge you, 'fix' you or to tell you what to do, but I will listen to you and be with you in understanding your experience from your point of view. This can help you to see things more clearly, and bring about change to find your own way forwards.

Counselling can feel daunting to begin with and it might be a big step for you. If you have questions or would like more information please feel free to phone me on the number above or email me via the link provided.
If you would like to meet for a conversation to discuss the way that I work with clients and talk a little about what has brought you to counselling, we can arrange a half hour or hour session; whichever you would prefer. It is then up to you whether you would like to attend further sessions - there is no obligation to commit to a set number of sessions.
