I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). The BABCP maintains high standards for therapists in the UK, ensuring that you get a high standard therapy.
I offer private Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at my private, confidential office in the Adlington area of Chorley, Lancashire. Therapy is provided in person, over the phone, and via Skype.
I accept self-referrals, and referrals from other professionals and agencies, such as General Practitioners (GPs), solicitors, and health insurance companies.
CBT is an effective, short-term, evidence-based talking therapy. The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommend CBT for the treatment of many mental health conditions including, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), phobias, and insomnia.
Contact me by phone, message, or email to arrange a free telephone consultation. This enables you to ask any questions about therapy, and I will ask you a few questions to assess if cognitive behavioural therapy is right for you at this time.
I recommend you view my website www.ashworthcbt.co.uk for full details of what CBT is and what to expect from therapy.
