About me

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look through this profile.

Our experience:

We are a private practice offering therapy to adolescents and adults. Our team of qualified and accredited practitioners mainly use CBT and Existential and Psychoanalytic counselling, which are some of the most effective and well-researched therapies for low mood and anxiety.

We particularly specialise in helping people to manage low mood, low self-esteem and anxiety. We are also trained to work with generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks/disorder, phobias, OCD, PTSD, identity difficulties and life transitions.

As a team, we also have additional skills in lecturing, supervising other therapists and consultancy to universities and app creators.

Our approach:

Our values are to work hard to ensure our clients are happy and working towards their goals. We work in a collaborative way, such that we provide the knowledge of therapy skills, and you play an active role in your journey to feeling better by practising and engaging with the therapy.

What to expect in sessions:

We'll start with an assessment which lasts between 50 minutes (or 70 minutes for under 18s). This can help us determine the main difficulties and explain how we can use CBT or counselling to tackle the difficulties. We'll then have weekly or fortnightly 50 minute sessions thereafter to help you explore your feelings and learn techniques to manage the difficulties.

Virtual sessions:

We're based in Reading, Berkshire, but due to Covid-19, all our work is remote and we can support clients anywhere in the UK via zoom or telephone sessions.

Virtual sessions work really work - it doesn't feel too different to face to face sessions, as we can still see each other.

It's also ideal for those with busy schedules who have less ability to travel.

To get started:

If you're interested in working together, please email or call us to see if one of the team are the right therapist for you. We can then book you in for an assessment.
