About me
My name is Anita McKenna. I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of NCS offering counselling from my comfortable therapy room in mid Cheshire. I am currently offering face to face and online sessions to ensure you get the support you need, when it is needed most.
Counselling is a place for you to talk in confidence about issues or problems that might be affecting you. Coming to counselling is a courageous step, particularly if you are dealing with difficult or overwhelming feelings. I aim to create a safe and trusting space, and value the relationship between client and therapist as the most crucial element.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
