It is those first steps towards seeking help can often seem like the most daunting but they are also some of the most important. Finding the right therapist for you is vital in bringing about positive and lasting change.
My degree is in Integrative Counselling, which means that my approach draws upon several methods and is tailored to suit you, the client. Since then I have also studied more extensively Psychodynamic counselling and CBT. Together we will identify key areas to work on and navigate through in a way that is comfortable, relaxed and entirely at your own pace.
If you would prefer a remote session, I am able to offer telephone or Zoom appointments.
Walk and Talk Therapy
I also offer walk and talk therapy sessions. The exercise and fresh air can add to the therapeutic experience and for some, the sessions can feel more relaxed than being stuck within four walls. If you're concerned about mobility, we can always find somewhere private to sit down.
I can come to you at home (within 10 miles of Norwich), where you may feel more comfortable in your own environment.
What will happen during our first session?
During out first session we will talk through the issues that have brought you to seek therapy and talk about what to expect moving forward, if you choose to continue.
I offer both short and longer term therapy.
Is there anything which you specialise in?
Areas which I have worked most extensively in include bereavement, long term illness, cancer, end of life, relationships, domestic violence & abuse, sexual abuse, rape, depression, anxiety, post-natal depression, family issues, stress, trauma, affairs and betrayal, divorce, low self-esteem and low self-confidence.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
