Angela Winter (BA Hons Couns), (MBACP)
Due to COVID-19 I have reduced my online/telephone support service to £18 per session. (£9 half an hour)
Hello and thank you for reading my profile. Let me tell you a little about my counselling practice.
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor who is a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I practice person-centred counselling which means that I won't tell you how to think, feel or act.
Life can throw us all kinds of challenges whether it be from a difficult past or present circumstances and it can become difficult to cope on a daily basis. I offer a confidential, ethical and compassionate counselling service. I will work alongside you to help you explore your innermost feelings and emotions and the effect these can have on your emotional, physical and behavioural state. I feel confident that I can help you on your wellbeing journey.
I will help you feel safe, respected and listened to. Together, we will work to address the things that are troubling you and help facilitate change in your emotional wellbeing. I believe that with the right support you have the capacity to gain new insight and be empowered to take the necessary steps to effect change. You will learn to manage stress, anxiety and build confidence and self-esteem.
I have worked with diverse and multicultural clients. I love this vocation and feel it is an honour when clients are able to share their innermost thoughts and feelings.
My therapy will empower you to cope, to grow and to heal.
