I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). The BABCP maintains high standards for therapists, ensuring that you get high quality therapy.
I offer private Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at my private offices in Horwich and Bolton. Therapy is provided in person, over the phone, and via Skype.
I accept self-referrals, and referrals from health professionals and agencies, such as General Practitioners (GPs), solicitors, and insurance companies.
What is CBT?
CBT is an effective, short-term, evidence-based talking therapy. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NIHCE) recommend CBT for the treatment of many mental health disorders including, anxiety, depression, panic, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), phobias, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), health anxiety and insomnia.
