About me

I can help you manage the challenges you're facing in a positive way, with resilience and self-compassion. For me, it’s important that you have a relaxed, accepting and welcoming space to explore and process thoughts and feelings, while being supported every step of the way. I understand that finding a counsellor can be a daunting process - this is why I am always happy to talk to you and answer any questions before you book your first session.

I work with adults and 16yrs+ on a one-to-one basis across the New Forest, Bournemouth, Christchurch and beyond. I use person-centred, transactional analysis, gestalt and CBT counselling modalities and find the right mix to suit you best. I work with those with anxiety, depression, trauma, phobias, ASD, life events like redundancy and divorce and more.

Whether you’re looking for online or face-to-face counselling, I can accommodate your needs. I am very happy to offer a free telephone consultation to understand what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and explain how I can help - so you can make sure I’m the right person for you before you commit to any paid sessions.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
