About me

My name is Angela Rosemeyer and I am a therapeutic counsellor. I offer a comfortable, confidential and non-judgemental environment for you to come along and talk about what it is that you are experiencing at the moment. Sometimes we are feeling and experiencing things in life but are not sure why. This can feel confusing and frustrating and it's at times like this that talking therapy may be the next step. It is just as important to ensure positive mental well-being as it is to look after our bodies.

There can be so many pressures and expectations on us in our everyday lives that this can lead to conflicting feelings. Such as feeling unhappy, anxious or struggling with day to day life, wishing you enjoyed life more and felt like you fitted in more. Suffering from stress, depression or anxiety in your relationships or your professional life. Do you feel like you want to make changes in the way you feel or react about people or things? These are all things that can be explored and discussed together in a comfortable and confidential setting, exploring what's been holding you back and identifying the reasons for your feelings and behaviours.

My counselling style is very much client lead, making sure that each session is effective and helpful towards achieving a positive therapy journey, leading to a more fulfilled life for the client. I encourage my clients to be the best version of themselves.

I have worked with many clients over the past few years, supporting them with anxiety, depression, bereavement, self esteem, self confidence, stress, OCD, relationship issues, anger, social anxiety, suicidal thoughts and many other issues.
