About me

**Session availability is full. Currently closed to new clients and supervisees, thank you**

Hello, and welcome to my bio. I have been counselling, teaching, and supervising for 14 years, after jumping ship from the military in South Africa and policing in Devon and Cornwall to the field of counselling. My three adult children are going down that route as well so it must be in the genes!

My specialties are the most common issues that might be affecting you today; anxiety, depression, family issues, behaviours around ADHD and autism, or just feeling very sad or a little lost. You can heal from anything if you feel you can talk freely for an hour, once a week. Change comes gently and slowly and it's a time and space for you.

If you're academic and you love the latest literature in neuroscience, behaviour, personality, and psychology, I bring all of that with enthusiasm and passion from the Open University library to inform your progress and pace of change.

Counselling is fabulous - you owe it to yourself to try one free session with my colleagues and I to see what it's like and who you click with. Trust is good.

I am a registered member of the Children & Young People's Therapist (CYPT) Register, abide by the National Counselling Society's (NCS) Code of Ethical Practice for the Counselling Professions, hold Public Liability and Personal Indemnity insurance, and pursue daily continued professional development (CPD).

Counselling is the perfect opportunity for both change AND having a regular vent about your day or your week. If you know what you want to change, that's great. If you don't, let's find out.
