Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I try and keep my fees as low as possible as therapy can be expensive.
I believe everyone should be able to access therapy so I try my best to keep costs down.
I don’t want the cost of therapy becoming another problem for you so I try and keep some balance. As you’re aware, I’m accredited by the BABCP, and have almost 20 years experience.

Further information
I would advice a single session to start with, and in this session we’ll work out the goals for therapy. Together we’ll devise a treatment plan to suit your needs and then each session will culminate with us agreeing some homework - this could be a behavioural experiment.
You’re in charge and you can do this, you’re the expert on the subject of your own life, not me, I’m just a person trained to guide you through it, and you’ll get through it.
Don’t lose hope, you’re not a lost cause. We’ll work on the things that make you amazing, sometimes in life, we forget them.
