Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Creating lasting change through psychotherapy
Counselling and therapy provides you with a space where change can become possible. It will open you to new ways of thinking and behaving, empowering you to take control of those aspects of your life where you feel stuck.
The therapy process
My role as a therapist is to support you to explore the inner obstacles preventing progress, and to enable you to relate to yourself and other people in a more positive way. The therapy process will broaden and deepen your life experience, providing you with a stronger inner foundation from which to face ongoing challenges.
I can assist you in a secure, confidential environment in my practice rooms in W2 (near to Paddington) and NW10 (Kensal Rise), both close to public transport links and parking.
Working face-to-face is ideal, but I’m aware that this may not always be possible, so Skype and Online sessions can be considered.
FOR A LIMITED PERIOD
To help you decide whether therapy will help you, I am happy to arrange for a FREE 30-minute session (availability allowing) where we can discuss your specific needs. Please contact me to request this on 07870 377 061,
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained as an integrative psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in Little Venice, London, involving a four-year postgraduate diploma programme in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I also hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am also a qualified EMDR therapist. EMDR is a NICE and NHS recommended treatment for Trauma (including panic disorder, phobias, performance anxiety, self-esteem issues and other anxiety-related disorders).
I also provide supervision and academic support to other psychotherapists.
I am registered/accredited with United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am fully insured to practice and follow the professional ethics of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have explored my development for 20 years and have found my own path through a number of psychotherapy, coaching and bodywork practices. Prior to working as a psychotherapist I worked in the, academic, creative and media sectors. I hold two further MAs and an undergraduate degree.
