As a qualified and experienced counsellor I will give you the opportunity to receive the support you need and deserve. I will give you a genuine, caring and professional relationship, respecting who you are and helping you as we focus on understanding your situation, finding solutions and considering possible changes. I'll be sensitive to you as an individual, allowing and encouraging you to find the best way forward for you.
I am able to be flexible regarding when I can see clients as my private practice is carried out from my home, which is in a lovely, conducive setting, a short drive (approximately 20 minutes) from Chelmsford or Bishops' Stortford and quarter of an hour from Great Dunmow.
I see individuals and couples for short or long term work. As a Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists I work within their ethical guidelines.
Clients come to me with a wide range of issues, but I also have areas of particular experience and interest which include;
- bereavement and loss,
- relationship issues
- survivors of child abuse
I continue to work part-time for a National Mental Heath Charity. For more on my background please see "Training, qualifications and experience" below or go to my website for more information.
