I understand that sometimes our lives can feel stressful and challenging causing us to feel anxious, overwhelmed and hopeless. I know because I have been there. That's why I'm confident that I can help you find a better way For you to be 'happy'.
It may feel as though your life is working against you, or you are struggling to make sense of where you are going, or what you are supposed to be doing? We may even question why we never seem to feel completely happy or are constantly striving for the next best thing, or maybe trying to find a person who can 'fix us' or who can really understand us, for who we really are, or who we are 'longing to become'? or are we continue searching for someone to make us happy?
If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions, or you feel you have any of your own personal questions which you need help and support to find the answers to. I know I can help you do this by offering you a safe, secure and peaceful space with a genuine and non-judgmental approach and the time and space for you to achieve this.
I feel strongly that everyone is unique and has a variety of gifts and talents to bring to the world that often remains dormant. In my own experience and increasingly as a therapist, I am seeing, in many more clients (in regards to anxiety and depression) that many people have never had anyone to help or encourage them to find their unique talents or show them how to develop their gifts to feel valued and help them to feel they have achieved something in life. Many people don't believe they have the skills or confidence to bring these dreams or unique purpose to life.
I believe that I can help you on your journey towards finding your gifts and talents on the road to success by a variety of practical and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy techniques to help you discover a new perspective, or at least new ways of looking at your situation and in turn hopefully find the answers to your own unique set of questions, by offering you the guiding and supportive relationship you may have been missing.

I thought I'd share with you some recent testimonials from some recent clients:
Personal Therapy: JUNE 2018 (25-YEAR-OLD MALE)
When I first started counselling I had a typical mans outlook on it."I WAS WEAK, Men are supposed to be strong and there must be something wrong with me" It wasn't until a few sessions in, when the anxiety and the fear of the unknown had disappeared, that I knew I had found an absolutely brilliant Therapist!
I started therapy as a nervous, anxious young man. Uncertain of my future, avoiding any type of relationship with a partner, slightly socially awkward and very reluctant to say/get what I wanted in all scenarios of life!
I leave Andrea so much stronger happier and more confident the evidence being that since I first met Andrea I found exactly what I wanted to do in life, found a partner, Learned how to love myself, took on a more positive outlook on life and have become a more happy person all round.
Andrea is down to earth, so easy to talk to non-judgmental. She understands and connects with you on a whole other level, that makes you feel so relaxed and calm. I can't Thank Andrea enough and I really hope that this encourages other people, especially young Men to know that of its" ok not to be ok" and that Mental Health is a Real thing, affecting lots of people increasingly more and more young men from all walks life, and the best way to tackle it is to open up about everything with someone like Andrea you will not regret it !!
Personal Therapy : August 2017
"Meeting Andrea was a huge blessing to me at a very difficult time in my life. Her warm, common sense, a non-judgemental approach meant that I felt able to talk openly about some very personal issues with acceptance. Andrea's skillful counselling helped me to get a sense of understanding and perspective and move past problems into a much happier place. I will always be grateful to Andrea for the great work she does and would recommend her to anyone who needs to make sense of issues in their lives. " (female 45)
Family & Personal Therapy : July 2017
"I took my son to see Andrea earlier this year, to see if she could help him with his O.C.D and anxiety. Having spent a few months seeing Andrea, I am glad to say he's turned a corner and is now back on track with his life. Andrea comes highly recommended through the results and the kind-hearted approach she gave to our son." (Dad of a 17-year-old male client)
Personal Therapy: June 2017
"I am a young adult male who has been in and out of therapy for many years as I have a personality disorder. I had almost given up on therapy due to struggling to find someone I felt understood me properly and actually cared. I contacted Andrea on a whim and its the best thing I could have done. I can safely say her friendly, caring and patient approach to therapy is second to none. Andrea has helped me turn my life around in ways I had given up on. I am currently the most stable I have been for a long time and my whole outlook is generally just much more positive....Thank you, Andrea, for all your continued support and help! "
"To anyone reading this who is doubting whether to give therapy a second chance or considering therapy for the first time, I would definitely recommend Andrea!! Finally, I would say don't give up keep fighting and stay strong. Andrea taught me that we all have ups and downs but we can push through the other side stronger"
Personal Therapy: Sept 2016
''I have attended counselling sessions with Andrea for over a year. She has been thoroughly professional and compassionate throughout. With her help, I have regained my self-confidence and self-esteem which was at an all-time low. She has helped me to identify with myself again and given me coping strategies to deal with issues that have, and still do, affect me. I have found the sessions invaluable. I would have no hesitation to recommend her services.''
Family Therapy: August 2016.
''Andrea has helped both myself and my son immensely. Coming from a background of both going thru domestic violence/abuse, Andrea has helped build and strengthen the relationship between myself and my son after awful trauma and to build our confidence self-esteem and belief in ourselves that we can achieve our goals and move onto to a positive bright future. She has motivated me in such positive ways and helped me achieve things I couldn't imagine ever doing at the start to a point where I have had the confidence and trust in myself to make life-changing decisions to move my life to a better place where I should be to benefit all my family. Andrea instills positivity and direction in me and has helped me immensely through my journey recovering from domestic abuse and P.T.S.D. I cannot recommend Andrea's services highly enough. She is currently working closely with my son again now to help with his A.D.H.D/ autistic spectrum issues, helping to encourage creativity empowering him and his ability to achieve and boosting his confidence in the school holidays and I can't wait for the results of this to show to his school when he returns back in Sept.''
Personal Therapy: Jan 2017
''I booked in with Andrea as two very traumatic things had happened to me at the same time on top of me just about managing the grief of losing a parent I decided to listen to my inner voice and I decided it was time to talk to someone. I went off people's profile particularly profile pictures, to be honest, I like an honest face and someone I feel I can relate to as a person. I have undertaken to counsel with Andrea for several weeks and will be having top ups once a month, this has been very helpful and encouraged me to listen to my inner voice and enabled me to embrace some much-needed self-care. Andrea is a spiritual person as am I so this was an added bonus for me and brought something extra special to the sessions.''
