About me

I am an integrative counsellor/Coach specialising in individual and couples therapy.

I draw on various counselling and coaching approaches which can benefit my clients. I specialise in the Person-Centred approach along with CBT and Psychodynamic Counselling. I also use the Gestalt approach.

I believe in the importance of providing a safe supportive space for my clients to have a voice to not only be listened to but heard. Allowing my clients to be able to address painful and difficult thoughts and feelings that can hinder them from moving forward. 

I believes that therapy helps towards my clients’ development by allowing them to unlock their potential. Helping with depression, self-esteem issues, anxiety, trauma and bereavement and loss and relationships are of particular interest.

I work towards helping her clients live a more fulfilled and satisfying life whilst learning to trust the process of their counselling journey.

I am a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor who is committed to supporting individuals and couples on their journey towards personal growth and wellbeing bringing a warm and empathetic approach to my counselling practice.

I also promote equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) by providing a culturally sensitive counselling services to individuals from diverse ethnic minority backgrounds.  

Training, qualifications & experience

  • BSc degree in Counsellor and Coaching.
  • A Certificate of Higher Education in Counselling and Counselling Skills.
  • I am also a trained bereavement counsellor.
  • I am also a Mental Health First Aider.
  • I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
