About me
Are you finding life challenging, dealing with stress, anxiety, or depression? Are you facing relationship issues, coping with a loss, or struggling with change, low self-esteem, or loneliness? We can explore this together if you are unsure of what's troubling you.
I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space to listen to your concerns. I use evidence-based psychotherapy, a proven approach to addressing various forms of distress. Whether you are struggling to overcome painful experiences or want to develop your potential and live a meaningful life, having a skilful, caring and experienced person to talk to will help.
I use a blend of therapeutic styles, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and creative approaches, to support you in addressing your challenges. I will help you explore and understand your thoughts and feelings to be your best and realise your full potential.
You can decide whether to explore things in depth over an open-ended period or prefer a limited number of sessions to address a specific issue. I am here to support you in whatever way feels right for you.
I provide therapy and coaching psychology face-to-face in Central London (SE1) and online.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have 35 years of professional experience in different sectors and 12 years of helping individuals of various age groups and backgrounds who want to make a positive difference in their and others’ lives. As a practitioner and academic, I draw on my professional experience and research to shape my therapeutic approach.
I hold an MSc in Applied Psychology (RGU), a MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (UEL) and a PhD in Philosophy and Education (UNED).
I am a chartered psychologist (British Psychological Society), supervisor (Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors, BPS), registered psychotherapist (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), EIA master practitioner coach (European Mentoring and Coaching Council, ESIA Coach Supervisor (EMCC) and professional certified coach (PCC). International Coach Federation (ICF).
I adhere to these organisations’ ethical guidelines and professional standards, including client confidentiality. I am dedicated to continuous professional development, which is evident in my current training endeavours, including a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (UAI) and training in therapeutic photography and arts-based psychotherapy.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
