About me
I practice psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in Anerley, South London, on the phone and online.
I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts freely.
Getting in touch
There are numerous kinds of therapy available, and it can be hard to know where to begin - or perhaps you know you want psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Either way, I encourage you to get in touch to arrange a telephone consultation where we can discuss what you want to talk about, my approach, fees, and any other questions you might have. I have worked with adults with a range of difficulties, for example:

Training, qualifications & experience
Training and membership
I am a member of The College of Psychoanalysts, and The Guild of Psychotherapists, where I trained, worked in the clinic, and am a coordinator for their referral service. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Teaching
I teach various seminars on the Guild of Psychotherapists’ introduction courses and on the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training. I co-convene the Introduction to Psychoanalytic Concepts short course.
Wider experience
Before training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I studied literature and critical thinking, researching mourning, melancholia, and dementia. After this, I taught and worked therapeutically with children and young people in care. More recently, I have taught philosophy to women and men in prison on behalf of King’s College London and the charity Philosophy in Prisons.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
