Andrea Emmerson MBACP
People have questions about counselling or selecting a counsellor: When is the right time? What can it help me with? How do I find the right counsellor?
From my perspective, Counselling is a process where we can change our internal sense of self to enjoy and engage more with the world.
We will work together helping you understand what's happening inside and how the world impacts your feelings and perspectives without the use of professional jargon.
I am a registered member of the BACP with a Higher Diploma level 5 in Therapeutic Counselling.
I describe myself as a good listener, non judgmental, compassionate and interactive. I provide a safe confidential private practice, and offer both long and short-term counselling.
I work with clients facing many challenges, including anxiety, relationship issues, panic disorder, childhood and adult abuse, depression, bereavement, Post traumatic stress disorder and work issues.
