Thank you for considering how my services as a chartered psychologist and counsellor could help unravel the questions and/or challenges you are facing right now.
Being part of the LGBT+ community I have seen how life can throw many diverse LGBTQ-related challenges at our community that cause us to question our sense of self. Yet I believe within these challenging times we have the ability to grow and develop - even flourish - through the untangling of our internal and external worlds: who we are, our authentic selves, others around us and the world in which we live.
During therapy, I will always provide a trusting and safe space for you to explore your feelings and emotions. This includes assisting you in understanding these feelings and emotions (and possible challenges) as well as the possibilities for positive growth and change. Through this process, then, we can start to navigate - collaboratively - the challenges you are facing as a way to seek out solutions and further possibilities.
If you would like to speak to me about how I can support you, please call or email and I can book a free 15-minute consultation for us to explore what you want to get out of counselling as well as how I can support you. Then, if you are happy to continue, we can look at setting up a session (you don’t have to confirm in the initial consultation).

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
