Training, qualifications & experience
I have gone through some personal challenges in my life and after benefiting from counselling myself, I decided to use my experiences and training to support others.
Having also worked for 20 years in the financial sector, I find that my background in finance helps me to understand the anxieties and challenges confronted in the work place, as well as the demands it makes at a personal level.
Additionally, my experience working as an Honorary Psychotherapist in the NHS and in a Multi Ethnic Counselling Service, supports and helps me understand issues at a deeper psychological level.

First session - What to expect
The initial consultation will help us to explore what has brought you to therapy. It is an opportunity to talk about any concerns you might have about counselling and a chance to ask me any questions you may have about therapy. It is also a chance to reflect how you might feel about working with me and for me to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
Frequency and length of sessions
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place at regular times once a week. The length of the therapeutic contract varies and can be established at the initial consultation.I offer short term: 6-8 sessions, mid term: 12 sessions and longer term ones. The length of the counselling can be agreed on after reflecting personal needs, and during the initial consultation we will also have the opportunity to clarify timing for the sessions.
Please contact me if you require any further information. I look forward to hear from you
