Amy Wenborn FdA MBACP
Hello, I'm Amy an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working from my private practice within the Emerson's Green area of Bristol.
I offer a safe, friendly, comfortable and confidential space, in which together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings and the effects these may be having upon your life.
As an Integrative practitioner, my theoretical orientation is built upon a person centred core, incorporating both psycho-dynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy. I draw upon all three of these main approaches in order to create a tailor made therapy to best suit the individual needs of the client.
Above all, I hold the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work together. I understand therapy can be a big step and I aim to make this process as comfortable as possible for you. My aim is to provide a trusting and safe place where you will be listened to without judgement, and supported in your journey of growth, awareness, development and change.
