About me

My name is Amy Medlycott, and I am a BABCP accredited CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) therapist and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapist based in Essex delivering therapy remotely and face to face in Maldon, Essex. I have experience supporting people with various anxiety disorders, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Body Dysmorphia, phobias, and long-term physical health conditions such as IBS, Diabetes and Chronic Fatigue.

I adopt a warm and empathic approach to therapy while closely adhering to the ethical standards and policies of the BABCP and have professional indemnity to practice as a therapist in the UK.
