Amy Marshall (BSC) Registered member MBACP
My aim is to listen and create a non judgmental environment so you feel comfortable to explore what you need. I am an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within the BACP ethical framework.
I offer an integrative approach which means I use different counselling approaches which is tailored to the individual needs. I work with individual adults, couples and young people and offer anything from short-term, counselling to long-term counselling according to your needs.
I am offering online and telephone counselling to help individuals in this difficult time. Many of you may be feeling anxious and worried about current circumstances (COVID 19). Together we can conquer this, please continue to talk at this difficult time.
I have a purpose built counselling room based in Tadcaster North Yorkshire that provides a safe space to explore your difficulties. This will be available once COVID 19 restrictions have eased.
Can’t make it into the office? No worries – we’ve got you covered with teletherapy nationwide
I work with a range of clients who bring issues including abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, suicidal thoughts, voice hearers, self- harm, Drug abuse, Autism and many more.
To begin counselling please contact by email to set up an initial session. We will then discuss what you would like to achieve from counselling. If you're happy after the first session, we would arrange a second session and will discuss how often our sessions will be.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
