About me
Hello, I'm Amy.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about therapy, I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can reflect on what feels difficult, uncertain, or hard to name. I work with a wide range of concerns, guided by the belief that everyone deserves to be heard and met with care. I have a passion for supporting people navigating (in)fertility, pregnancy, and parenthood. We all need spaces to process and explore transformation. I'm here to offer support as you navigate change - wherever you find yourself in the process.
My practice is psychodynamic, relational, and shaped by intersectional feminist ethics. Working relationally means that we’ll pay attention to the relationships in your life - how they impact you, and how past experiences may shape the present. Our work together will centre on you, whilst keeping in mind how broader social and political forces shape how you feel and move through the world. Being informed by feminist ethics, means that I believe in and affirm everyone’s right to be fluid, creative and authentic in how they live.
If you would like to get in touch to discuss working together, please send me an email or visit my website for more information about me and the way I work.

Before becoming a therapist, I was a scientist - researching and lecturing in both the UK and the US. I hold a PhD in Genetics.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

If something here resonates with you, I’d be glad to talk more about working together. I offer a free 30-minute consultation so we can start to get to know one another. I strive to make therapy as accessible as possible. Therefore, I offer some reduced fee slots for people who are on parental leave, students, refugees, unemployed or low waged.
