About me

I am a  Chartered  Health  Psychologist  with  the  British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I have extensive experience working with both children and adults coping with different psychological symptoms and medical conditions.

Over the years I have worked extensively with people with problems such as depression and anxiety (e.g. stress, OCD, specific phobias, health worries, sleep problems, skin picking and trichotillomania).
I also have experience in working with children with ADHD and providing consultations to parents on different parenting issues (e.g. behavioural problems in school or at home). 

I have a special interest and knowledge in applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and integrating Mindfulness-based CBT/Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Biofeedback training and Hypnosis into the therapeutic process. 
I provide goal driven, brief and longer term therapies.

I am a recognised provider with all insurance companies.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Certificate in Hypnotherapy.

I offer integrative therapy, combining different approaches tailored to the client's needs and preferences, including:

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC

Health and Care Professions Council

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
