Amey Minsansa @ The Garden
Life can be overwhelming sometimes and knowing where to turn and how to reach out for emotional support can be a big step. I believe reaching out takes courage and is something to be admired .I can support you to take those first steps towards accessing the right emotional support. At The Garden I am able to provide Therapeutic Person Centred Counselling and Mindful Anger Management sessions .
Counselling can help when you are struggling with many issues from stress ,depression and anxiety to overcoming loss ,makingsense of big life changes or just a sense of being stuck and unsatisfied.
Having a space to talk through and make sense of these sort of things can be useful. Whatever it may be that brings you to counselling in your sessions with me you can expect to be provided with a non judgemental and understanding relationship that encourages you to explore exactly what you need to at your own pace .Through the development of this safe and trusting relationship in which I will hear and value what you say, you can become more open to yourself and your experiences. Counselling can help you over come anxiety, manage depression and honour your feelings and emotions. Through being heard and valued you can build on your confidence and self esteem ,develop on your own unique abilities and truly find value in yourself.
At The Garden I can also offer focused anger management and mindfulness sessions. Supporting you to identify your triggers and stressors, develop positive coping strategies and work towards a more mindful, assertive way of being. Anger is a natural emotion we all experience , but what we do with it is is important . When we let anger take us over it can have devastating effects. However when supported appropriately it can be a great motivator for change .
You will be encouraged to look at how you deal with conflict and difficultly , whilst working towards understanding your response to anger and vulnerable emotions. The sessions will support you to understand the impact anger can have on your relationship and your own sense of self esteem. You will be encouraged keep a weekly log of the changes in the way you manage and support your anger. Practising mindful breathing and paying attention to your bodies response to anger will form a part of these sessions. Through this you can expect to develop skills that help you navigate your way through difficult situations in a more loving and calm way.
