I offer counselling to adults aged 18 years and over. I work in a peaceful location and offer a confidential and non-judgemental environment for clients to explore the issues that they bring. I welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures.
My main experience is with people who are dealing with bereavement and loss (family and friends), with problems of older age, with cancer or other illness, with life as a carer, or with a range of family problems. I offer help with anxiety and depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
I am trained to work as an integrative counsellor, and this comprises person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and abide by its ethical code.
