About me
I am a HCPC Registered Doctoral level Counselling Psychologist and Chartered with and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I have over 25 years experience in the NHS as a Consultant Psychologist and worked at Executive NHS level as a Director of Therapies and Health Science.
I am the current Registrar at the British Psychological Society.
My service offers a range of highly professional and discrete bespoke packages for Adults with Mental Health or life issues alongside those with executive type and life coaching needs. I am trained in a range of therapies upon which I integrate in an individualised manner for each client.
Additionally I am available for individual supervision for therapists or drawing on my extensive experience in the NHS, at management and executive level, consultation.
In particular, I also specialise in providing top level coaching and therapy to consultants and managers in healthcare, executive level personnel across all settings, media and sports personalities, leaders of industry and high level public profile clients.
PLEASE NOTE - I charge between £100 - £150 per hour according to affordability.

Training, qualifications & experience
BSc (Hons) Psychology; British Psychological Society Diploma in Counselling Psychology (Doctoral level); PG Diploma Analytical Psychotherapy; PG Diploma Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy; Cert Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Diploma Family Therapy; Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR level 3) - for Trauma; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
As a Practitioner Consultant Psychologist I have worked with people with a wide range of complex mental health problems in the NHS in Wales. I have covered the spectrum of presenting problems including depression and anxiety, trauma, gender realignment, eating disorders, psychosis and personality disorders.
Additionally I was Head of Psychology; Lead for Psychological Therapies in an NHS Health Board in Wales and latterly the Acting Executive Director of Therapies and Health Science for 20 months in a large MHS Health Board.

British Psychological Society

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

My fees range from £100 - £150/hr (negotiable) and I offer SKYPE, Zoom (or equivalent) or telephone work as indicated.
I offer traditional hour long sessions of psychological therapy and bespoke workshop sessions of intensive life or executive coaching which could amount to anything up to 1/2 day or a full day.
