About me

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Whatever you are experiencing that is causing you overwhelm or discomfort, we can work through together.

Being able to talk openly with someone who isn't involved in your day-to-day life can be incredibly healing. We can create a safe, confidential space together so you can freely explore who you are and what is happening in your life.

How I work

I work relationally, which means that I believe the relationship between therapist and client is a really important part of the healing work of therapy. By offering my support, challenge and emotional safety, you can pause, exhale and discover who you are.

I also use Transactional Analysis (TA), which helps people understand themselves by exploring how they relate to others and themselves. The core beliefs in TA are that everyone is OK, everyone can think and everyone can change.

I work both short and long term with therapy clients on a range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues and self-fulfilment.

As well as talking therapy, I also offer brainspotting, a technique which can help process and release trauma.

Get in touch

I offer a free initial 30-minute consultation, so you can see how you feel about working with me and talk through any questions or concerns you have about the therapy process.

Whatever issues you are currently facing, please get in touch and we can talk through how therapy sessions with me could help you.

I offer therapy online and in person at my practice near Heathfield, East Sussex.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

UK Association for Transactional Analysis

UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
