Alison Marks - MBACP
Are You Looking for a Counsellor?
My name is Alison I am friendly Person-Centered Counselor. It can feel quite daunting taking the first steps towards counselling. I can offer you an hour appointment in a quiet and confidential room in Carlisle close to the city centre.
Counselling can be of help, by having a safe nurturing environment to support you. It can feel like a large step to take. I offer the flexibility of meeting your individual needs and working at your pace. To help restore the balance in your life.
My way of working is to offer an empathic, confidential space, where you will not be judged. Where you can explore the difficulties that you are experiencing.
I have experience of working with a wide variety of issues. Which have included working with a voluntary organization in the Carlisle area. Where I have had the privilege of counselling people with life limiting diseases. I have also a broad experience of working with bereavement. Having lived abroad with the armed forces, I have had the unique experience associated with the emotional invisible wounds and the challenges it brings.
Please feel free to call or email me. I will answer any questions you may have with no obligation.
