About me

I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, and a British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist. I have over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents in both mental health and educational settings. In my practice, I aim to provide a safe, confidential and collaborative space for clients to explore their difficulties and find solutions to their problems.

I offer the following psychological therapies for adults and young people (aged 12 and up):

  • Relaxation Training
  • Assertiveness Training
  • Stress management

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPS) and registered with the Health and Care Practitioners Council (HCPC). I obtained my degree in Psychology from York University (BSc, Hons). I then studied criminology at Cambridge University, obtaining my Master’s Degree (MPhil, Cantab).   I undertook the final part of my training at the Institute of Psychiatry, which is part of King’s College London, graduating with an MSc in Clinical Psychology in 1991. I hold a Certificate in Focused Expressive Psychotherapy from the Gestalt Institute in Tuscon, which I obtained in 1995.
