About me

Have you spent large periods of your life just feeling as if you don’t belong? Do you look around at family members, friends and work colleagues and believe that they seem much more part of something that you are not? Do you always feel like an outsider?  Then this may be therapeutic space for you.

These feelings of being an outlier can intensify at times of greater stress in your life and you may feel as if you are approaching a tipping point when you just cannot manage so many life events. Whatever the life issue whether if happened last week or decades ago is never too late to resolve this.

You do not have to suffer alone support is available in the short or long term.

Together we can work creatively using multiple therapeutic solutions enabbling you to experience the person that you are now or who you desire to be in the future, without judgement or painful criticism that perhaps you may have experienced in the past.

We all have a birth right to be ourselves but so often that is denied us for many different reasons but by reading this shows that you are on your pathway to a new more fulfilling phase of your life.

Please contact me via email or on the number listed below to see if I could be the right therapist for you.

I am available to work with children or adults.

Additionally I can offer trainee therapists or qualified counsellors creative clinical supervision.

Thank you for taking time to read this entry.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
