About me

Hi, I'm Alison, I provide a therapy and counselling in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

What is happening for you and the impact on you is at the forefront for me; what you're feeling is real and important. I want to acknowledge your courage in taking this first step to investing in yourself, and work with you to help you understand yourself better, your situation and your individual lived experiences to enable you to move the towards the changes you want to make.

Working face to face and online.

I work from my counselling room and offer online therapy through zoom which offers you a flexible approach to best meet your circumstances and preferences.

I want to work with you, offering you a safe and accepting space to allow you to explore your reasons for coming to counselling at your pace. To do this I offer a free 15 min call or zoom session to see if we would be a good fit to work together and for you to see how comfortable you feel talking to me.  This can be booked directly through my website to save you time and energy, or please do pop me an email with any other questions before getting started.

I also specialise in Nature Therapy.

Working with and through nature; with a focus on working with bereavement, loss, anxiety and self concept (the relationship you have with yourself, self esteem).

Being side by side, I work with you as we encounter nature on both your body and mind.  The very act of moving can promote a sense of stuckness to unlock and shift. I offer this in a woodland or country park space - please see a short video below to meet me and see if this is a way you might like to work.
