I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist offering one to one counselling sessions to anyone who feels they need help with a variety of issues. The approach I use is an integrative Cognitive Behavioural approach, which allows me to borrow techniques from other therapies so we have a wide variety of tools and techniques so you are better equipped to deal with any challenges. My aim will be to help you to become your own therapist, by providing psycho education on any issues you are facing and using a solution focused approach to help you set goals and work together to find ways to challenge and cope with any difficulties you are facing.
Whether you are looking for short-term therapy (4-6 weeks) or longer-term therapy, I offer a working relationship that is safe, compassionate, boundaried and confidential. Please feel free to contact me by telephone or email where I’ll be happy to answer questions you may have.
In line with current guidelines I am able to offer both face to face and online therapy.
When face to fave sessions return, I am able to see clients in both Glasgow city centre in therapy rooms and Cumbernauld. The location in Cumbernauld is in a residential area where I have created a safe and comfortable space, which allows flexibility in my availability. I hope you will feel welcomed and safe to begin exploring what you would like to work on in whichever location is more suitable for you.
I have worked with people of varying ages and backgrounds, and have experience in the following areas :-
- Low mood
- Low self esteem
- Anxiety, panic & coping skills
- Anger management
- Self-harm & suicide ideation

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
