About me

Therapy is about exploration of our inner thoughts in a safe and non-judgemental environment. I want all my clients to be heard, valued and understood - supporting my clients to explore their perspectives, and empowering them to experience change.  I believe that we all have the potential to change and move through difficulty, and that a therapeutic relationship can support us to harness that power, even when it might seem difficult.

As an integrative counsellor, I am influenced by a variety of psychological approaches and recognise that we are all unique so one approach does not fit all.  My training is predominantly person-centred and psychotherapeutic which means I believe clients hold their own answers to their difficulties, and I see the value in exploring how patterns in thinking and behaviour may be linked to the past.  I recognise that it can be helpful to look at the past to understand our present.

I run my private practice covering Twickenham and the surrounding areas, but I am predominantly working online at present due to COVID.  I'm currently offering therapy in blocks of 12 - 16 weeks, or shorter if this is your preference. If you are thinking about starting therapy, why not contact me to arrange an initial consultation? In this session we would have the opportunity to think about what brings you to therapy, get a sense of what it is like to be in therapy with me and ask any questions you might have. Together we would then decide if we would like to work together. Please note although I have a polish surname I am British, and I am afraid I cannot offer sessions in polish.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
