**I have decided to undertake supplementary training and have lowered my fees to £35.00 per session while training.**
I believe that life is filled with challenges and obstacles for a reason, that these have inherent in them a great potential for personal growth and transformation which only becomes manifest once we face them and endeavour to understand them. The therapy that I offer is built around the goal of providing a compassionate space in which our challenges can be acknowledged and heard. The first step towards overcoming our challenges and obstacles is to listen to what they have to tell: the lessons that they are here to teach us. Nonetheless, most of us do not have the knowledge nor the support in our lives to provide our difficult thoughts and emotions with the space that they need. The therapy that I offer is designed with the goal of providing space to ourselves, to our difficult thoughts and emotions: something that all human beings need in order to finally find the peace and happiness that we all long for.
I work with people of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations. Individuals and couples are welcome.
I offer a free initial consultation (phone) of 10-15 minutes to talk about the therapy that I offer and whether or not it suits your needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member of the BACP (MBACP). I trained as a counsellor at the University of Northampton (MSc Counselling) and later trained as a psychologist at BPP University London (MSc Psychology). Currently, I am training as a Counselling Psychologist at the University of Manchester (Doctorate in Counselling Psychology).
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
