I am an experienced counsellor and I use in the main, the Humanistic Model of Counselling, within an integrative approach. This enables us to use, or integrate, other styles as appropriate, and so tailor counselling sessions to suit your personal concerns. Counselling does not give specific advice, but encourages you to reflect, to explore your issues and to find your own solutions, with the guidance of your skilled counsellor.
I have private consulting rooms in Clifton. Nothing is off limits and anything we discuss remains confidential between you and me, and no information is ever given to families or friends. Here you will be able to talk freely about your thoughts and feelings. I am non-judgemental and you will be given total respect as a person. It is a very safe place!
At our first meeting we will discuss your expectations and any concerns or anxieties that you may have. Clients invariably find that counselling gives them support and comfort when confronting periods of crisis, distress, or concern. If we are comfortable and feel that we can work with each other, we will then discuss how we are going to proceed. I provide short and long term therapy, which I tailor to your needs.
