About me
There are times in life when some people may experience overwhelming feelings and behaviours that can persist even with the support of friends and loved ones.
I'm a qualified accredited practitioner with a solid track record of positive changes affirmed by my clients. I offer a consistent, competent and affordable service to all my clients regardless of their world views, cultural diversity and other factors.
I encourage my clients to fully explore their experiences and help them accept who they are and what is out their personal control, so they can better understand their current situation and improve their lives. I help my clients resolve the challenges they may be dealing with or issues which are troubling them using a combined approach to therapy that best matches their characteristics and preferences.
I work actively using an integrative approach that incorporates aspects of theory and practice from some of the main therapeutic traditions including Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Solution-focused, CBT, and Gestalt. Integrating the different components of these theories enables taking the most suitable elements of each depending on the needs of my clients.

Fees
Initial consultation
I like to offer a low cost first appointment to decide whether we both feel comfortable working together. The fee for the initial consultation is £40 for a 60 min session.
Cost of sessions
Some people may feel excluded from accessing therapy due to the typically high cost. I offer professional and affordable Counselling. Normally my charge is between £40 to £50 per session but the lowest cost would depend only upon your own financial circumstances (i.e. reductions for the unemployed or those on a low income/budget). This should be made clear at the outset. Payment should be made on the same day before the session begins. No charge for cancellation of appointment if given 48 hours notice.
