About me

Easy to use online sessions currently available.

I'm an experienced psychotherapist, coach and supervisor working from quiet modern rooms in Broadwater, Worthing and online. I work with a wide range of issues and goals to help you to get to where you want to be.

I provide both counselling and coaching and supervision - in person and online, and I'm registered with Bupa and Aviva. I have a valid DBS certificate for working with adults and children.

Counselling: Therapeutic sessions to explore difficulties, problems and issues towards understanding, acceptance and change.

Coaching: For achievable goal setting, help with career changes, business development and life coaching.

Supervision : Clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists and coaches.

I work with a wide range of issues as a counsellor, including low self esteem, lack of confidence, bereavement and loss, stress and anxiety, depression, help with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), anger management, sexuality, addictions, and family and relationship issues/couples counselling.

I also provide business coaching, career coaching and life coaching, or a combination as required.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have trained as a Psychotherapist and Coach with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in London and NLPWorld in Brighton.

I am a master practitioner of NLP and hypnotherapy and hold a diploma in Contemporary Psychotherapy.

I've also trained as an Coach with the C.H.E.K. Institute.

My previous career centred around I.T. Management for banks, digital media and utility firms in London. (Lloyds TSB, Cable and Wireless, ntl:, uswitch.com).

I have also worked as a counsellor for the Sussex Alcohol and Substance Use Service (SASS), supporting the NHS and ADDACTION.

I am also a qualified Mindfulness teacher - see WorkplaceMT.com

I have considerable experience in both counselling and coaching, and use a wide range of approaches that are proven to be highly effective in bringing about positive change.

I am an Aviva eligible provider of psychological/counselling therapy, and have worked with West Sussex County Council and Social Services.

I am also one of the teachers delivering the counselling qualifications at Worthing College.

UK Council for Psychotherapy

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
