Personal Consultancy with an Integrative Coach Counsellor offered via Video Call or phone call, to Adults, Couples, Families or Parents with concerns for Young People of 16 or 17 years.
My Commitment to Healing & Creative Personal Development
Since the age of 16 years, I have been fascinated with psychology, therapy and hypnosis, I discovered in books in my local library. I have had a life long commitment to exploring and developing knowledge and expertise in therapeutic understanding , communication and change-work for the benefit of children, adolescents and adults, parents and families. I have pursued this in mainstream mental health care, through training in theory and practices (systemic, narrative family therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, psychodynamic counselling, attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, mentalization) and in complementary practices of hypnosis, shiatsu, emotional freedom technique, visualization, plus others.
Our Need to Be Listened To
Whilst I like to believe that we are all doing the best that we can; we can often benefit from the guidance, support, coaching or deeper support of therapeutic counselling or just someone who listens to us, when faced with difficulties or obstacles in our life path, or the challenges of loss, transition or a new project.

For 28 Years in NHS Mental Health Services with adults, couples, teenagers, young adults, parents, families and as consultant to network professionals, I have been providing counselling integrated with coaching enhancing accelerated improvement for my clients' emotional and psychological wellbeing.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Virtual Appointments via Video Call: Allow Greater Flexibility of Access
This arrangement avoids the necessity for travel saving time.
I can offer to meet virtually (by video call) with those who want work on improving understanding, acceptance or improved communication in their relationships; this may be for couples, or a parent and young person, or a number of family members. We can work in this way with participants at the same location or via a video call from different locations.
