Do you sometimes feel like you don't fully belong? Have you navigated the complexities of growing up between cultures? As a therapist, I create an understanding and supportive space for adults raised in a world of balancing cultures to explore their experiences and find connection. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who have immigrant parents, TCKs, and those with mixed heritage. Together, we can explore your identity, family dynamics, and mental wellbeing, helping you build resilience and embrace your unique story.

Maybe you have struggled with:

  • Feeling different from your family, yet not fully part of the culture you live in.
  • Navigating cultural expectations that clash with your own values.
  • A sense of rootlessness or uncertainty about where “home” really is.
  • Challenges in relationships, work, or self-identity.

Taking the first step toward therapy is a big decision, and finding the right therapist is key to your healing journey. Whether this is your first time exploring therapy or you've had past experiences, my approach is designed to meet you where you are. I offer a holistic, forward-thinking, and growth-focused approach, tailored to help you create lasting positive change.

Your therapy sessions will be a space where you can fully be yourself—heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Therapy offers the chance to:

  • Strengthen your relationships, both with yourself and those around you.
  • Learn healthier ways to manage anxiety, stress, and tough emotions.
  • Heal from past experiences that may be holding you back.
  • Uncover a deeper understanding of your true self.
  • Discover your personal needs and create strong, healthy boundaries.

Through the relationship we create, the transformative power of therapy can unfold, allowing you to heal, grow, and move forward.

If you'd like to start your healing journey, just drop me an email and we can book a session (all emails are replied to within 24 hours).

Or, if you'd like to book a free 15-minute introductory video call to ask any questions and get a feel for how we can work together, please click the "Book Intro Call" icon above.

Therapy is a brave step toward the life you deserve. If we don’t get the chance to connect, I sincerely wish you all the best on your journey and hope you find the compassionate care and support you’re looking for.

"You are not a problem to be solved. You are a vast, complex, and unique being to be understood and loved." – Matt Licata

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

As a second-generation British South Asian female, I’ve experienced the unique challenges of growing up between two worlds - where the traditions, values, and expectations of home conflict with the wider society around you. Navigating the complexities of South Asian family dynamics, balancing personal desires with family expectations, and finding a sense of belonging were struggles which were all too familiar.

My own journey has deeply shaped me personally and professionally in viewing therapy through a cultural lens. I aim to provide a compassionate, non-judgemental, and curiosity driven space where clients can delve into themselves, empowering them to take control of their identity and find a balance that feels authentic to themselves.
