Training, qualifications & experience

I had also developed my counselling and psychotherapy skills with Lateef Project, Cedar Counselling, My Time, Maple Leaf Counselling Services, Women's Consortium and Nour Domestic Violence. I had trained at the College of Practical Homeopathy in Birmingham for 4 years, where I gained understanding and 2 years of placement experience of effective clinical treatment.

I had also graduated with 5 years online diploma in the theological – Islamic Studies (Al Kauthar Institute) and integrated this knowledge with Islamic Psychology and Islamic Counselling research during my Msc Psychology dissertation research.

Currently, I am researching issues around identity and present IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine) accredited holistic workshops around spirituality, wellness and counselling related matters. Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Integrative approach at AJS Therapy concludes that each component of the health is influencing various facets of our life. In support of theories, which strongly emphasise the emotional management – many practitioners believe that affections are the leading factor in determining wellness. Your health can be understood by combination of both scientific interpretations: alternative medicine and health psychology. This organic approach opens up the links between the personality trades, chronical diseases and mental health predispositions. AJS Therapy believes that you can fell empowered and in control of your wellness expressions in mind, body and soul with the right support and high self awareness levels.

Further information

Counselling and psychotherapy aims at raising your knowledge and self awareness in maintaining balanced mental health hygiene. By principle, counselling will provide for client a supportive and safe environment where they can learn about their symptoms and recognise own patterns of behaviour, triggers of maladaptive thought patterns, successful coping mechanisms, and reach closures with the past and unresolved emotional traumas. Depending on your circumstances, your counselling may include a program to help you with self esteem, assertiveness, stress and anger management, reconnection with own spirituality and restabilising own self care habits ( meditation, exercise and relaxation).

Natural Medicine can support you in feeling free from disease – labelling and recognise you by the wholeness of your person instead. Naturopathy is based on the principles of self healing and self cleansing, and offers a support enabling you to live life to your full potential. Your natural ability to sustain wellness evolves during maintenance of healthy life style, which should be tailored accordingly to your circumstances. Your body holds blueprints of genetical baggage, unresolved emotional traumas and spiritual stagnations. Naturopathic approach at AJS Therapy can release those blocks for you with the uniquely designed package of therapies: nutritional counselling, detoxifying plan, cupping treatment, homeopathic and herbal remedies. During the sessions you will find the insight into the roots of your health’s disharmony, will become more health conscious and self reliant.
