Aisling Fegan, HCPC art psychotherapist & clinical supervisor
I am a HCPC registered art psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, experienced working within schools, domiciliary care, nursing homes, community spaces and NHS settings. I also facilitate outreach art psychotherapy for people living with dementia and those receiving end of life care in their own homes.
Art Therapy also known as art psychotherapy is a state registered (HCPC) psychological therapy that provides an accessible way to engage with difficult thoughts and emotions. You do not need to have any special skills in art to make use of art psychotherapy.
My particular expertise is around community outreach art psychotherapy, trauma, dementia and clinical operations management. I supervise MA art psychotherapy students and workers within arts, health and community-based settings.
