About me

I am an experienced and trained psychotherapist and counsellor with over twenty years experience of counselling in therapy services, including working in the NHS, in the voluntary sector with adults, children and families and with university students.

I am a relational integrative psychotherapist who uses understanding from theoretical approaches that encourage your development and awareness, supporting you in relationship with yourself and other people. Therapy focuses on your thoughts, feelings, emotions, sensations and ways of being with other people so that you can understand yourself better.

It is important that you find the right psychotherapist or counsellor for you. My appoach is collaborative, working out with you what you want to change and also supporting you to know and use your strengths and resources. I offer a free initial telephone consultation prior to meeting, to decide together what can support you going forward.
