About me

A very warm welcome to my page!

I have 25 years of experience in helping people through difficult times.

Having been trained to MSc level at both The University of Edinburgh and Robert Gordon University, and currently a final stage Doctoral Degree candidate, I am confident that I have the tools to assist you.

I am here to offer you a bespoke, tailored approach to therapy at a pace that feels comfortable.

Many people encounter psychological discomfort as they go through life, whether it's in relation to a one off life event such a grief or divorce, or an underlying issue such as anxiety which is affecting the quality of your life.

My goal is to help you understand why your past is affecting your present. This allows you to move into the future in a happier place.

I have extensive experience of working with emergency services employees and offer a 15% discount to those in the blue light family.

I look forward to welcoming you, either in my beautiful office in the south side of Glasgow or online at a time that fits into your schedule.

I have several clients based abroad in the UAE and happy to work around time difference.

I am qualified to work with both individuals and couples.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
