About me
Hi, I am an experienced integrative Psychotherapist working in Central and North West London. Being an integrative Counsellor means that I can use my knowledge of a number of theoretical psychological approaches and tailor them to the specific needs of the client.I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their ethical framework which means that for me clients well being and autonomy are of paramount importance.
At times we can feel like that we are alone and no one can understand what we are going through. Counselling provides a non-judgemental, safe space for you to explore your feelings and work towards assertiveness and self-actualisation. The treatment that I offer has successfully helped my clients work their way out of depression and anxiety. I usually use the Cognitive Behavioural techniques and exercise to treat these conditions. However, my clients find it very useful in looking into their past experiences often using free association and dream analysis.
My practice rooms are based in Swiss Cottage,West Hampstead,Fitzrovia and Marylebone.
I also work within the educational and healthcare sector providing general and specialised counselling for issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, redundancy, marriage/relationship breakdowns ,sexual abuse and many other. Please contact me if you would like to find out more about the way I work and therapies offered.
Confronting something difficult in a face to face seated interaction is not easy for some people. I offer walk and talk therapy for people who prefer working outdoors, where we walk or sit on a bench, according to your preference. These sessions are held at Hyde Park and Regents Park.I also offer home visits to clients who are unable to attend sessions at my practice rooms.
