About me

  • Hi, I am an experienced integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working in Central and North West London. Being an integrative Counsellor means that I can use my knowledge of a number of theoretical psychological approaches and tailor them to the specific needs of the client.I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their ethical framework which means that for me clients well being and  autonomy are of paramount importance.

At times we can feel like that we are alone and no one can understand what we are going through. Counselling provides a non-judgemental, safe space for you to explore your feelings and work towards assertiveness and self-actualisation. The treatment that I offer has successfully helped my clients work their way out of depression and anxiety. I work with clients usinh the Cognitive Behavioural techniques and exercise to treat these conditions. However, my clients find it very useful in looking into their past experiences often using free association and dream analysis.

My practice rooms are based in West Hampstead.

I also work within the educational and healthcare sector providing general and specialist therapy for issues such as  depression, anxiety, bereavement, redundancy, marriage/relationship breakdowns ,sexual abuse and many other. Please contact me for a free phone consultation.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
